I had issues with some of those games an streaming, but not OSX specific ones. You're right to urge caution, however, once I was in and not panicing the kernel I played through a LEGO game, an Arkham, Sonic Racing, Rayman Legends, controller working on all.
It really doesn't like the controller not being plugged in from system login (or probably boot). Yes, that driver is a bit prone to panics, and that's not quite so cool. Hey, finally got my invite and so, did the testing with the tattiebogle driver.

I have not tested it with Bluetooth yet (batteries were dead), but I'll update when I do. Every game I tested maps it as a 360 controller. I realize this controller is not a prevalent with the PC gaming crowd, but I can confirm that by merely plugging in my DS3 to my MBA via USB, it just works.
I'd suggest anyone else trying to use that does so with a fair amount of cautionĪpparently, OS X Mavericks (which is a free update for anyone running 10.6 Snow Leopard or later) has built-in driver support for the DualShock 3.
